How TradeLink Works

Joining TradeLink is an application, not an instant sign-up.

Every apprentice is reviewed individually to keep the standard of the TradeLink network high. There's no commitment and it's completely free to apply.

    Submit Your Application

    Complete the TradeLink Apprentice Application with accurate details about your experience, availability and the trade you're interested in.

  2. Step 2

    Application Review

    Every application is manually reviewed by TradeLink. TradeLink assesses your application, CV and supporting information before deciding whether to invite you into the network.

  3. Step 3

    Screening Conversation

    Where useful, TradeLink will contact you for a short phone conversation to understand your motivation, career goals, availability and communication.

  4. Step 4

    Application Decision

    You'll receive an email confirming one of: TradeLink Verified, Accepted +, Accepted, Accepted — Profile Improvement Recommended, or Application Paused.

  5. Step 5

    Matching Process

    Once accepted, you'll be considered for current and future apprenticeship opportunities that match your experience, location and preferences.

How Applications Are Assessed

TradeLink reviews every application individually. Acceptance is based on a combination of factors including the information provided in your application, your CV, communication during the screening process, professionalism, motivation, commitment, availability and overall suitability for the TradeLink network.

TradeLink reserves the right to accept, pause or decline applications based on its assessment.
