Apprentice Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to apprentices and aspiring apprentices who apply to join the TradeLink network. By submitting an application, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
- Applicants must provide truthful, accurate and up-to-date information.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland at the time of any placement.
- Any misleading or false information may result in an application being declined or removed.
2. Applications
- Every application is manually reviewed by the TradeLink team.
- Acceptance onto TradeLink is not guaranteed.
- TradeLink may accept, decline or pause any application at its discretion.
- TradeLink may request additional information or invite you to a short screening conversation.
3. Professional Behaviour
By applying to TradeLink, applicants agree to:
- Attend interviews they have accepted.
- Arrive on time for interviews and, if placed, for employment.
- Behave professionally when representing themselves through TradeLink.
- Communicate respectfully with TradeLink staff and employers.
- Respond to employer communications within a reasonable timeframe.
- Notify TradeLink if they are no longer seeking an apprenticeship.
- Notify TradeLink if they obtain employment elsewhere.
- Notify TradeLink if their contact details or availability change.
4. Candidate Packs
Applicants acknowledge that:
- TradeLink may create Candidate Packs summarising an applicant's profile for recruitment.
- Candidate Packs may include information gathered during the application and screening interview process, together with an internal assessment by the TradeLink team.
- Candidate Packs may be shared with relevant employers only, for the purpose of considering you for a role.
- Internal assessments (such as communication, motivation or suitability notes) are TradeLink's own recommendations and are not guarantees of future performance.
5. Liability
- TradeLink cannot guarantee employment or interview offers.
- TradeLink cannot guarantee wages, working conditions or continued employment once placed.
- Hiring decisions remain entirely with the employer.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeLink is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the TradeLink service.
6. Privacy
Personal information you provide is handled in accordance with the TradeLink Privacy Policy, which explains what information is collected, how it is used and your rights under GDPR.
7. Changes to These Terms
TradeLink may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
